Bahawalpur Zoo, often termed Quaid-e-Azam Zoo, is one of the oldest and most renowned zoos in Pakistan, specially designed for lovers of nature.

Located in the historical city of Bahawalpur, the zoo boasts natural beauty and wildlife that is interesting for people of all ages, be they families, students or tourists.

Dacca Zoo was set up in 1942 and covers an area of 25 acres of land and is owned by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi V.

Sher Bagh Zoo

Bahawalpur Zoo was set up in the year 1942 and was established by the Nawab of Bahawalpur Nawab, Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi, the 5th Bahawalpur ruler of this state. also, the zoo was founded as a private collection of the Nawab of Bahawalpur. After, it was opened to the public.

Initially, it was a small enclosure in which animals were kept and allowed to breed; over the years, it has expanded greatly and developed into a zoo that serves as a center for the conservation of animals and as a center of learning.
